Hi.
If you're looking at this site, it's probably because you're a fan of Seattle, WA-based band, the Long Winters. Great! Me too.

In the spirit of sharing and caring, I have hastily thrown together this ragtag website of media to enhance your enjoyment of the Long Winters. Here, you will find slightly disjointed and confusing guitar tabs, hissy sounding live recordings of the band playing all their hits backwards, and mp3 samples of live and studio recordings that skip. Oh, and I'll also throw up a few cool videos and links, too. Ain't that swell?

I think you'll enjoy this site, but I'm not entirely sure. The only way to find out is for you to click around on the links on the right. Or, if you get bored of this site, you can always click on the links along the bottom, which will direct you to other sites with better design and organized content that (mostly) doesn't suck. You know, if that's your thing.

Upon perusal, you may recognize some of the content. That's because HaterHigh is a community-driven project. Everything worth finding on this site has been submitted by fellow fans who have taken the time to go wheedly-wheedly-whee-wah on their guitaring devices long enough to put together a guitar tab, or have hooked up a bunch of circuit boards to their lapel and recorded a Long Winters concert for mass circulation. Thus, most of what you'll find here is archived from various websites -- most notably the Elec-Tronic Salon & Discussion Table (which is really a fancy way of saying 'the Long Winters Message Board').  So, thank you to all the contributitors for their efforts. May your work live on in infamy on HaterHigh.com!   - Jason / sour29

What?! You Didn't Notice?!?
* With all quiet on the Western Front; excepting, that is, John's residency with
Seattle Weekly, I have taken it upon myself to do a thorough update to the LLA
HaterHigh Classmates section, posting almost half a dozen new recordings.

*  The quiet is getting to me, so I'll probably rehaul the whole website early this
spring, and make it a wee bit easier to navigate (as I know this site isn't the most
user-friendly)!
